She and I have both recently connected more closely with our faith, and she wanted to strike up a relationship where we could talk about God and his workings in our life. It was the best kind of surprise, and what a blessing! I’m so excited to talk with her!"

So I’m part of this amazing forum called SheroesCentral and we want more members.  If you like books, fantasy, science fiction, politics, feminism, arts & crafts, cooking, and/or hanging out with the coolest people on the internet (ahem), YOU SHOULD TOTALLY JOIN!!  I’m looking at you, followers.  We’re primarily women, but there are a few dudes among us and we would be super-pumped to get more.  We have a shitload of queer members, too.  No creeps, no trolls, no assholes.  Just an awesome, supportive, active forum with a bunch of excellent people on it who want MOAR FRENDZ.

Guys, really, I love this site. I’ve been a part of it for ages and it is the best, most supportive community I’ve found. 

Biting the bullet and reblogging this even though a large part of me is like “MINE ALL MINE” — but I’m trying to be a grownup and it’s Christmas so YAY SHARING. Sheroes has been my online home for nine and a half years. These people are some of the best I have ever known. So…yeah, feel free to come on and join. We love new people and have a great time talking about books, current events, crafting, our lives…and supporting each other through thick and thin. Aww I have a few tears in my eyes from how much I love Sheroes…

WHAT. THE. FUCK. NO. Check your racist bullshit, oh my GOD. I posted an explanation of what was problematic, and links…but the thing is they KNOW. They know why I cringed, they know why it is racist…they just don’t care, I guess?
