I don’t like Bushido AT ALL, but I have to admit that I love this one and the lyrics are actually nice.
I love this song and it is making me feel better tonight. Ich vermisse dich, Deutschland!!!

I had a long day and the combination of major restricting (oops - almost fainted at work) + having my period + not getting enough sleep + not getting enough water + having a little cold = I feel awful. Also I was trying to break in leather shoes for work and I can hardly shuffle around on my blistered, tender, sore feet oh my God. And just generally I am exhausted and cranky and nervous about math on the GRE (eep eep it is so soon). On the way home, I helped my mom run errands and was just so ready to get to my house.
So imagine my surprise when there was a package waiting for me, from my lovely boyfriend, containing peanut butter cookies (my favorite!), his copy of Der kleine Hobbit, and a sweet postcard! I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful boyfriend who is both a whiz in the kitchen and a German speaker. :) :) :)
& now: change into comfy clothes, pamper feet, make & eat dinner while watching Pond Life 1-4 and then more Season 3, Skype with boyfriend, maybe read a bit, and bed. Math can happen more tomorrow.

| Laura: | Was ist das? |
| Peter: | Das ist Spargel. |
| Laura: | ...aber...es ist LILA! |
| Peter: | Ja, das kommt manchmal. |
| Laura: | Nein, es kommt nie! Spargel ist grün und braun. |
| Peter: | ...oder manchmal lila. |
| Laura: | Bist du sicher, das ist Spargel? |
| Peter: | Jaaa...du hast ihn gegessen vor zwei Tagen. |
| Laura: | Echt? |
| Peter: | JA. |
| Laura: | Bist du echt sicher? |
| Peter: | JA. |
| Laura: | ...woher kommt das? |
| Peter: | The Kiva. Es ist Hippie-Spargel. |
| Laura: | ...vielleicht ist es homosexueller Spargel! |
| Peter: | ...okay. |
| Laura: | Das kann ich essen. |

Bestes Lied der Welt, Bushido
My boyfriend and I read some of Der kleine Hobbit aloud to one another in honor of Tolkien Reading Day. :)
